SUMO-U180 Thermal Imaging Camera

Concept of the SUMO-U180 thermal imaging camera offers a cost effective solution for night surveillance applications. This camera is used mainly in middle-range monitoring systems.

SUMO-U180 is a very sensitive, highly reliable uncooled thermal camera with dual field of view. That means there are only two positions of the lens: minimal and maximal zoom. The magnification at maximal zoom is 3x. There are three possible levels of digital zoom: 2x, 4x and 8x.

The camera is capable of detecting a human target at a distance of 5 km.

The camera with its accessories is placed in a sealed ruggedized environmental housing to protect optical and electronical parts. The housing includes a protective sun roof. The camera is remote-controlled via a serial line.

Functions: autofocus, color pallets, video enhancement, freeze image, OSD etc.
