Representatives of EVPU Defence took part in Czech delegation led by the Chief of General Staff, Army General Ing. Josef Bečvář, visiting Brazil during March 19th - 23rd, 2018.
General Bečvář in Brazil negotiated bilateral defense co-operation, his priority was to support the defense-industrial cooperation and support the Czech companies that want to operate in the region. The counterpart was represented primarily by representatives of the Brazilian Ministry of Defense.
The defense and security industry has a major position in Brazil and attracts the attention of many renowned world manufacturers of aircraft, ships, armored vehicles, weapons, radars, telecommunication equipment and more.

Delegation of representatives of the Czech defense and security industry together with the Chief of Staff of the Army made the flight by Airbus A319 CJ. This link was partly reserved for industrial entrepreneurs. The trip took place in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the Czech Embassy in Brasilia, and a project for the promotion of economic diplomacy was approved for this occasion as well.
